Shaft Lighting PLUS

PLUS LED Shaft Lighting system is a unique and effective way of providing Lift Shaft Lighting to meet the new EN81-20 regulations. Quick to install, providing both normal and emergency lighting in one simple system.


Flexible conductive track fitted with 60 LEDs per metre, with 6 LEDs per metre supplied with Low Voltage Emergency Power Supply. The LEDs have a large beam width which contributes to the high level of illumination within the shaft.


The PLUS comes complete with its own Power Supply with a 3 hour back-up system for use in the event of power failure. The Power Supply also has terminals provided for 3 way switching of the shaft lighting offering the facility to switch the lighting on and off from the top of car, machine room and the lift pit.


Our LED Shaft Lighting consists of a PVC Light Strip with a 5m Power Cable, which provides equal illumination of the entire shaft by extending in one piece from the shaft ceiling to the shaft pit.


At 270g per metre, the light strip is as light as no other shaft lighting system. Lengths of up to 50m are possible with one strip, no connection pieces are needed so it avoids the formation of loop resistance.


Attachment to the shaft wall is quick and easy. Mounting is performed downwards from the shaft head providing the advantage of the light band becoming its own plumb line.
